2. Inflating the tires to the right pressure improves the lifespan of your tires, which decreases fuel consumption. Tire gauges are simple to use, and they are inexpensive. You may also be overdue for a wheel alignment and balance if you notice the car pulling to one side as you move. And a good way to extend the life of all the tires is to change them to reduce irregular damage periodically.
3. Engine air filter If clogged with dust, it will let dirty air into your engine, lowering its output. Some air filters are easy to reach and adjust while others are not available, so you could get the local auto shop to do that for you. The owner’s manual can inform you how much it needs to change.
4. The exterior of your car should be periodically cleaned, particularly if you park under sap-dropping trees or have fruit bats in your neighbourhood. Bat droppings and sap will destroy the paint job when quickly removed.
5. Car batteries are prone to giving out when you need them most, so it helps to keep track of how old they are. Inrequent use of a car  will contribute to the depletion of the batteries, so always start the car if sitting for long periods.
